The full treatment takes as little as 20-30 minutes. Dr. Mekelburg and staff will first prep your skin by numbing the area. Once numb, the laser is moved across the skin, doing one side of the face at a time.  Patients often feel nothing or a minimal burning sensation and tingling, which will subside upon completion. Ice is given to help soothe the heated skin. Once the procedure is complete, your skin will appear slightly red. For the next seven days, the skin may have a “sandpaper” texture but appears normal and will soon develop a nice glow that is visibly plump, soft, and hydrated: resulting in a healthier complexion. While you’ll see some results after the first treatment, it is recommended that you do at least four sessions to maintain the desired skin condition.
